Sift
Live CQL query tables for Confluence — build with filters, save them, and share.
Sift turns a Confluence query into a living page report. Build it with filters instead of memorising CQL, run it, save it to a library, and embed the results as a live table on any page — index pages, dashboards, compliance and audit views, team homes. Every result respects permissions: each viewer sees only the pages they're already allowed to see.

What Sift does
- Live results on any page. Add the Sift macro, point it at a query, and it renders the current matching pages every time the page loads — with the columns you choose (title, space, type, labels, contributor, dates).
- Build with filters, not syntax. A visual builder for space, content type, label, created / last-modified dates, "my pages", and free text, with a live count of how many pages match. Prefer CQL? Switch to the Write CQL tab.
- Save once, reuse everywhere. Save a query to your library, keep it private or share it with a space, and reuse it across pages. Edit it in one place and every embed updates.
- A query workspace. A standalone Sift page in the Confluence nav lets you browse your library, build and run queries, and see results without embedding anything — and share a saved query by link.
Built to last — Runs on Atlassian
Sift is a Forge app that runs entirely inside Atlassian's cloud. There are no external servers and your content never leaves your Atlassian environment — the strongest data-residency and security posture the platform offers. As older Connect-era apps reach end of support, Sift is the Forge-native way to keep your live CQL reports running for good.
Permission-safe by design
Every query runs as the person viewing it. A shared query or an embedded report can never surface a page that someone isn't allowed to see.
