Privacy Policy

Hyperdella builds software for Atlassian and the web. This policy explains what data our products and this website handle, and how. It is written to be read, not to hide behind. If anything here is unclear, email hello@hyperdella.com.

The short version

• Our Atlassian Marketplace apps (including Sift) run entirely inside Atlassian's cloud on the Forge platform. Your Confluence content never leaves your Atlassian environment and is never sent to any Hyperdella server — because we operate no server that your content could be sent to.
• This website uses privacy-friendly, cookie-less analytics and does not track you across the web.
• We do not sell personal data. Ever.

Our Atlassian apps (Sift and future apps)

Sift is a Runs on Atlassian Forge app. This has a specific, verifiable meaning:

• Where it runs: all of Sift's code executes on Atlassian's Forge infrastructure, inside your own Atlassian cloud tenancy. Hyperdella does not host, proxy, or receive your Confluence data.
• What it accesses: Sift reads Confluence content and space information as the current user, so it only ever returns results that user is already permitted to see. It requests the minimum Atlassian scopes needed to search content, read space names, and store your saved queries.
• What it stores: the saved queries you create (their name, the query definition, and your chosen visibility) are stored using Atlassian's own Forge storage, inside your Atlassian tenancy — not on any Hyperdella system.
• What it does not do: Sift does not export, transmit, or copy your content outside Atlassian; it runs no external network calls to Hyperdella; and it does not use your content for analytics, advertising, or model training.
• Billing: paid apps are sold and billed by Atlassian, not by Hyperdella. Atlassian handles payment data under Atlassian's privacy policy; we receive only the remittance and licensing information Atlassian provides to Marketplace partners.

Atlassian's own handling of your data is governed by your agreement with Atlassian.

This website (hyperdella.com)

• Analytics: we use a self-hosted, privacy-friendly analytics tool that counts page views without cookies and without building a profile of you. It does not identify individuals or follow you to other sites.
• Email: if you email us (e.g. hello@hyperdella.com), we keep that correspondence to reply and provide support. We don't add you to any marketing list from a support email.
• Purchases on this site: if you buy a product sold directly through this site, payment is processed by our payment provider; we receive the order and licensing details needed to deliver it and provide support, not your full card details.

Your rights

You can ask us what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or raise a concern, by emailing hello@hyperdella.com. For data held inside Atlassian by our apps, uninstalling the app removes its stored data per Atlassian's Forge data-retention behaviour; you can also contact us to assist.

Changes

We may update this policy as our products evolve. Material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above.
